Blumont is looking for a competent Program Coordinator to undertake varieties of tasks including administrative and program management tasks. The candidate has to be organized, detail-oriental and comfortable in working with diverse and tense areas. The work location is Erbil and heavy presence in Kirkuk Governorate.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support planning and coordination of the camp and its activities.
  • Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.
  • Manage communications through coordination and follow-up activities.
  • Help build positive relations within the team and external parties.
  • Prepare paperwork and order material.
  • Oversee and approve all spending from the budget.
  • Support growth and program development.
  • Develop CCCM strategic directions and integrate it into operations; including planning, developing and monitoring effective implementation of CCCM programmes in close coordination with the camp managers.
  • Ensure that Blumont CCCM programme implementation are in line with CCCM Cluster policies and strategies.
  • Manage and monitor allocation of human and financial resources, mobilize resources as needed in close coordination with the Camp manager and support team.
  • Work with local partners to identify gaps in the operational systems and organizational development
  • Develop capacity-building plan to address identified gaps within the camps.
  • Monitor implementation of organizational development techniques
  • Develop relevant materials and documents to assist in organizational development.
  • Liaise with government, NGO and UN agencies.
  • Translate materials and meetings (English/Arabic/Kurdish) when needed.
  • Conduct on-site visits.
  • Coordinate with other Blumont staff through regular meetings.
  • Submit regular reports to supervisor.
  • Planning and Organizing – plans work, anticipates risks, and sets goals within area of responsibility.
  • Displays mastery of subject matter.
  • Work on the coordinated approach to durable solutions for IDPs and returning process.
  • Undertake duty travel as required.
  • Work closely with the Information & Communication staff to ensure that project results and reports are properly disseminated internally and externally;
  • Any other program related duties to ensure program success.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Social works, Peace Management, Organizational Behaviour, community development or related field. (Preferably Master Degree in relevant degree).
  • Minimum five years of demonstrated management experience, at least two of which are in a non-government organization.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Arabic. Kurdish an asset.
  • Understanding of the situation of the region and commitment to humanitarian principles.
  • Willingness to travel within Kirkuk, Erbil on daily bases if required.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility, commitment, patience and a good sense of humour.
  • Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position.
  • Knowledge of program management and development procedures.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and efficient.
