Gender Specialist (1): Responsible for playing a proactive role in identifying at least 20% of potential women farmers and rural entrepreneurs from the peri-urban areas to ensure their access to all project related activities and access to agro-inputs from dealers and other resources, linking them with credit institutions, linking them with supermarkets for selling their outputs. He/she shall ensure data collection process is gender-disaggregated and measuring direct and indirect impact of project, particularly through technology transfer on women. The gender specialist will develop a strategy to ensure at least 20% participation of women in all project activities.
She/he must have master’s degree in social science with minimum 10 years’ experience as gender specialist in development projects with focus on ensuring women’s access to all agriculture related services. Advanced computer skills are essential, including Microsoft Access and Excel
