Up to £36,250 per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits.
Engineering is at the heart of our nation and our future: transforming ideas and materials into global infrastructure, products and services that increase the wealth and health of our economy and society. As the UK’s national academy for engineering, we bring together the discipline’s finest minds to promote excellence and champion innovation.
There has never been a time when building strong international partnerships and collaborations has been more important to the UK. This is particularly true in engineering and technology, which operates in an increasingly global context – through multinational industry, international research collaborations, and developing solutions to global challenges such as climate change and urban population growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, effective communicator, who is equally at home in the worlds of strategy, policy and research programmes, to join the Academy’s recently established International Partnerships team. You will draw upon your excellent relationship management skills, your confidence in presentation, and your good working knowledge of research and engineering policy issues in the UK and internationally to strengthen the Academy’s international partnership activities with advanced economies and build new ones. Working within a small but growing team with ambitious goals, your work will bring direct benefit to UK innovation, support UK engineers to tackle global challenges effectively, and build the UK’s voice and capability internationally on key policy issues.
We offer an unrivalled package of benefits including a non-contributory pension scheme, BUPA cash plan, private medical insurance, subsidised restaurant, regular social activities, health and wellbeing programmes and the possibility of flexible working, as well as significant investment into your personal and professional development.
