The Senior Program Manager, Crisis Response will be responsible for supporting all management, strategic planning, financial management, and reporting aspects of a sub-set of B-C/TIP activities implemented. This position will primarily oversee and manage activities implemented to support the prevention of human trafficking and child marriage. S/he will be expected to establish and maintain systems for project office operations, oversight and implementation of planned activities contribute to reporting on technical activities and financial management.

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the field-based team and grantees to oversee timely implementation of activities;
  • Support the Chief of Party in preparing, editing, and submitting timely and accurate activity, financial, and procurement reports to USAID;
  • Establish, improve, and maintain accurate administrative, financial, and subgrantee monitoring systems in collaboration with the Finance and Administration Officer;
  • Track progress against cost share and leverage requirements as part of activity implementation;
  • Serve as liaison to external agencies, donor organizations, stakeholders, private sector actors, etc. as requested by the Chief of Party;
  • Provide editing services for success stories, training materials, reports, newsletters and other communication pieces as required; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful candidates will have strong management skills as well as English grammar and writing skills. Significant project management experience and leadership are highly desired;
  • Education: Master's level degree required in international development, education, business, English, political science, or a relevant social science discipline.

Relevant Experience and Skills:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a development or crisis response sector program (INGO/UN/USAID preferred);
  • Experience working on addressing trafficking-in-persons, migration, or human rights issues in Bangladesh highly desirable;
  • Demonstrated administrative skills in the management of complex programming, on time and on budget;
  • Financial management, budget design, and budget management experience preferred;
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation of strategic plans;
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, problem solving, conflict and ethical management skills;
  • Fluency in English is required (Knowledge of Chittagonian dialect highly desirable);
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Microsoft Suite).
