IJM is seeking a highly experienced, dedicated professional to serve as the Field Office Director, Cambodia. The Field Office Director (FOD), Cambodia will work closely with the Vice President, Forced Labor Slavery, Asia-Pacific (VP-FLS) to ensure the field office achieves its goals, particularly focusing on the significant, sustainable reduction of forced labor slavery within the Cambodian workforce, with an emphasis on Cambodians being trafficked into the Thai fishing and seafood processing industries. The FOD will lead the Cambodia field office in building the capacity of government, civil society, and other partners to enhance consistent, effective, collaborative, and sustainable enforcement of Cambodian laws against forced labor slavery. This includes rescuing victims, capacitating a network of care to promote survivor restoration, securing perpetrator accountability under the law, building criminal justice system capacity and leadership, and scaling up impact through strategic partnerships. The FOD will also build a replicable model for the protection of source-country migrant workers along recruitment corridors by proving the impact of IJM Cambodia’s program through data, building out a theory of change and program guidance, and developing products to assist stakeholders in replicating IJM Cambodia’s model.
This position is responsible for the overall execution of operations for the Cambodia Field Office. The FOD will ensure employee engagement, safety, security, as well as spiritual & professional development. This position also monitors and controls the budget, expenditure, and program activities to ensure staff performance and program goal achievement. The FOD engages directly with IJM regional and program hub operations, leads national activiation, and supports regional/global advancement and activation. The FOD builds and leads a culture of world-class professional excellence where members find themselves, year by year, becoming more like Christ as they participate in common spiritual disciplines in a community of service and faith.
This position is based at IJM Cambodia and reports to the Regional Vice President, Forced Labor Slavery in Bangkok, Thailand.
