Chemonics seeks a senior technical advisor for the USAID’s anticipated five-year, $100-300 million Integrated Child and Youth Development (ICYD) Activity in Uganda. This activity aims to improve youth learning outcomes while ensuring that children and youth are safe and healthy in their communities and learning environments. Specifically, this activity will address primary school retention, provide technical assistance to orphans and vulnerable children service providers, and employ high-impact local partnerships to accomplish the activity’s objectives. This position is based in Kampala. The senior technical advisor will be an experienced education and/or health sector professional with exceptional leadership experience, and a deep understanding of the local context.
The senior technical advisor will work with the activity’s chief of party to ensure that the technical direction for ICYD is fully disseminated among staff, the contractor partner team, and other key stakeholders.
