You will provide leadership on evidence-based programming and be the focal person, actively representing PSI Eswatini at conferences and with external partners (donors, government, private sector). You will also:
Develop research protocols and study designs, ensuring that all research adheres to scientifically sound research methods and PSI standard operating procedures; facilitate national and international IRB approval process.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Develop and revise PSI Eswatini M&E Guidelines, tools, SOPs and M&E plans and frameworks.
Oversee development of appropriate data management and data reporting systems for PSI Eswatini including mobile technology, and provide guidance to strengthen PSI’s contribution to national M&E and HMIS efforts.
Lead teams to conduct regular DQAs and act as a point person for all PEPFAR SIMS M&E and DQA activities.
Analyze data and guide program staff to regularly use data to guide programmatic decisions and activities.
Liaise with the PSI DC office in ensuring implementation of consolidated platform DHIS2 system configuration to consolidate clinical, product and BCC data emerging from various existing paper-based and electronic data capture systems.
Assist program staff in developing appropriate and relevant output and outcome indicators and targets in accordance with PSI, donor and national M&E guidelines.
Oversee the IT needs of the organization and ensure that PSI Eswatini has consistent, quality and cost-effective internet connectivity.
Manage all MIS systems for PSI Eswatini.
Provide oversight of all IT issues including DHIS2 monitoring.
Liaise with PSI Research Director and Regional M&E Advisor on research and M&E/SI activities respectively.
Develop M&E annual, quarterly, and monthly work plans and progress reports; assist in the development of proposals and program log frames.
Prepare and present M&E reports and documents for PSI, donors and government as requested.
Supervise and mentor M&E teams.

You have a Post graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health or Statistics.
You have at least 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation at national or international NGOs and humanitarian organizations.
You have experience in leading teams of not less than 5 staff.
You have experience with qualitative research techniques including focus groups, in-depth interviews and ethnographic techniques including discussion/interview guideline development, focus group moderating, interview techniques, and analysis of qualitative data and reporting.
You have experience with computer software (Microsoft Office Package, STATA, R and/or SPSS). GIS skill is an added advantage.
You have demonstrated leadership, team building, capacity building and supervisory experience
You have excellent report writing and communication skills in English.
