IJM is seeking a passionate individual to serve as Security, Investigations and Law Enforcement Development (SILED) Manager for IJM Kenya’s program to combat commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC). The SILED Manager will develop and maintain strategic partnerships within the National Police Service (NPS) and Witness Protection Agency, among others, with the view of building capacity of these agencies to combat CSEC in coastal hotpots. The position will work to ensure IJM delivers on two CSEC interventions: one with the Kenya Police Service (KPS) and its Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), focused on police station capacity development and one with specialized law enforcement teams, including DCI’s Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit (AHTCPU). The position will also support other interventions focused on building capacity across the justice sector, including efforts to strengthen interagency coordination and case management. The position will be responsible for the security of the coastal program and will manage all security and investigation staff.
