Winrock is recruiting a Deputy Chief of Party for the five-year U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Vietnam Reducing Pollution opportunity. The Vietnam Reducing Pollution project will provide sub-awards to local organizations for collective action approaches to address environmental pollution challenges. The project will work in key urban centers in Vietnam, providing capacity building services and support knowledge-sharing and learning among local organizations. This Activity will strengthen local networks for pollution prevention and mitigation.
The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) will assist and support the Chief of Party (COP) in technical leadership and management of the project, oversee and provide technical expertise in project planning and implementation; and handle administrative and supervisory responsibilities as specified by the COP. These functions will be done in coordination with the Winrock home office, including the project technical team and program staff. The DCOP will supervise selected personnel in the project.
