Freedom House’s Chief of Party (COP) will oversee and ensure the impactful implementation of a five-year program to support civil society organizations and networks to protect democratic space, human rights, and accountability in Southeast Asia. The COP will work closely with the DCOP and Freedom House’s Washington, DC-based Director of Asia Programs in overseeing the implementation of all programmatic activities. The COP is responsible for leading project management, design, and implementation of USAID priorities, and ensuring services are aligned and delivered according to USAID guidelines. The COP will also be responsible for financial management, staff supervision, office management, communications, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. The COP will work closely with Freedom House’s Security Manager and Director of Asia Programs to ensure the safety and security of field staff. Furthermore, the COP will be responsible for donor relations, advocacy, and fundraising. The COP will liaise with the USAID Mission/offices and local and international partners to coordinate activities and facilitate monitoring and reporting of project objectives and achievements.
