The Department for International Development (DfID) three-year Syria Education Programme will focus on access to quality learning opportunities for children and young people, with an emphasis on reaching out-of-school children, supporting improvements to the learning environment, and other measures to ensure transparent and effective service delivery.
The Capacity Building Manager will be responsible for providing managerial, administrative and technical support to local capacity support coaches. The Capacity Building Manager will be responsible for developing and supporting professional capacity building planning and training content in the areas of compliance with regulations and policies; financial management, accounting, documentation and financial reporting; quality programming delivery; and, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and reporting.
The Capacity Building Manager reports to the Team Lead and is based in Turkey. S/he will supervise four local capacity coaches working in each of the Syria Education Programme’s target governorates.
