Under general supervision from the Senior Manager, Mobility and in direct collaboration with the HR Talent Management team, the Immigration Business Analyst will be responsible for:
Working closely with outside counsel with managing and processing the timely and accurate filing of domestic and international immigration applications and/or petitions and issue resolution;
Communicating policies to hiring managers and foreign nationals, and overseeing compliance with foundation’s immigration policy;
Maintaining all public access files for compliance and accuracy;
All required administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning immigration documents; mailing and tracking all pertinent information and dates;
Advising Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams, in a thorough and timely manner, on all aspects of domestic and international immigration regulations and options in order to limit the foundation’s risk and maximize benefit to employees and candidates;
Responding to all employee inquiries on a range of immigration-related issues;
Utilizing interactive databases as well as MS Office Suite, including Outlook scheduling and e-mail systems, to closely monitor foreign national employees’ cases to ensure that they maintain lawful work status;
Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting on the immigration program, including financials and trends;
Assisting with the maintenance of the foundation’s compliance to all immigration regulations;
Completing periodic audits of the immigration program, where necessary;
Staying up-to-date on immigration-related matters and regulations;
Assisting Senior Manager of Mobility with periodic audits and the development and revisions to all immigration policies and procedures, as well as the preparation of related immigration training materials.
3+ years of experience processing nonimmigrant and immigrant immigration cases at an immigration law firm or for a corporate entity;
1+ years’ experience of Form I-9 compliance and E-Verify process.
Experience with domestic and international immigration processes and regulations;
Experience with corporate business traveler compliance programs;
Experience with Form I-9 audit/remediation projects;
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills;
Ability to demonstrate a deep knowledge of employment based immigration.
