World Learning is a leading international non-profit organization advancing education, systems strengthening, and inclusive development through programming around the world. We are seeking an experienced Chief of Party (CoP) for the anticipated USAID Uzbekistan All Children Succeeding Activity. The Activity will focus on improving the learning outcomes of Uzbekistani primary school students. To achieve this, the activity will strengthen the capacity of education sector systems to provide quality learning environments with the instruction, materials and support that children need while they are in school, at home, or in the community. Equity and inclusion will serve as core principles of this activity; therefore, interventions will work to address the learning needs of children with disabilities and integrate Universal Design for Learning principles to ensure that approaches reach and support all children.
The Chief of Party provides overall technical and administrative leadership and expertise, and serves as the primary liaison with USAID on management and technical matters. They will be responsible for administering and managing the implementation of the activity and has the overall responsibility for assuring that all assistance provided is technically sound and appropriate to meet activity objectives. They must be responsible for all aspects of coordination and communication, including with the Government of Uzbekistan, other donors, universities, the civil society sector, and other potential implementing partners. They will supervise the work of all organizations (sub-awardees) and individuals engaged under the activity.
