  • Assisting USAID Missions to better understand and support Secured Transaction policy reforms Working with identified banks to support their movable property lending programs to expand lending to female entrepreneurs;
  • Designing and delivering training to USAID and banks on movable property lending to further in-depth understanding;
  • Designing and implementing technical interventions to catalyze financing for SMEs;
  • Developing technical assistance and training activities to support expanded secured transaction initiatives;
  • Assisting banks to better understand local market opportunities, including expanded equipment lending for the health and agriculture sectors;
  • Assisting in organizing outreach events to commercial banks on Secured Transaction policy reforms;
  • Providing thought leadership on innovative regarding the expansion of Secured Transaction policies and programming.


  • 15 years of experience designing and implementing access to finance programs;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working on secured transaction policy reform;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience assisting commercial banks on movable asset lending;
  • Knowledge of and experience with SME financing, trade finance, and agricultural lending programs;
  • Experience working with commercial banks in various international development settings;
  • Experience designing and delivering finance-oriented training and technical assistance for banks and financial institutions on SME lending;
  • Experience working with USAID;
  • Master’s degree in business, economics, finance or related field;
  • Fluency in a Spanish or French is highly desired.
